These are fully functional X520s that have had some cosmetic refurbishing. The DO NOT have any broken clips etc. Most people would not even notice but sometimes the SFP cages get scratched/have impossible to remove stickers and these are ones we polished up. No broken clips. Genuine Intel made!
Over the years we have sold thousands of Intel X520's in Grade A Condition. These are not them they are Grade B-

These Intels are more compatible than the Dell versions of the X520, some servers(especially SuperMicro) do not like the Dell sometimes where the Intel works fine. These Intels work perfectly fine in Dells also.
