This Wedgwood bone china Florentine pattern (W1956) was made in England from 1929 to 1989. This is more commonly known as the "Dragon" pattern. It came in about a dozen variations, in color and some had an added center design. This is the dark blue with brown trim/dragons design. Under certain lighting conditions, the dark blue almost looks black. The design is embossed into the china, it is not transferware.
